Circulating books from the Chemistry Library, Marine Studies Library, Morris Library, Library Annex, and Physics Library may be requested for shipment.
Many titles from the Film and Video Collection are available through the Distance Learning DELivery Service. Items with a DELCAT Discovery designation of Media Loan generally are available through the Distance Learning DELivery Service.
For more information, visit the Distance Learning DELivery Service page.
Students enrolled in a UD Online distance learning program can request University of Delaware Library materials for delivery to their home address. Items are shipped with a prepaid UPS mailer so items can be returned to the Library. The Library absorbs all costs for this service. Complete policies and procedures are available on the Distance Learning DELivery Service page.
Currently, the Distance Learning DELivery Service is available only to users who have a valid University of Delaware ID card, are eligible to register for a University of Delaware Interlibrary Loan account, and are also enrolled in a UD Online distance learning program. Retired faculty and graduate students who are residing more than 75 miles from the Morris Library also may be eligible: contact the Interlibrary Loan Office for more information.
Eligible users will see a Distance Learning DELivery Service request option in their ILL accounts. This form may be used to request items held at the University of Delaware Library. Use the Interlibrary Loan request forms for materials held at other libraries: they will be shipped to you once they are received in the Interlibrary Loan Office.
