Congressional Record began March 4, 1873, the opening day of the 43rd Congress (special session).

  • Annals of Congress
    • Covers 1789 - 1824. (1st - 18th Cong.) Compiled and published 1834-1856.
  • Register of Debates
    • The first contemporaneous publication. Covers 1824-1827 (18th Cong., 2d Sess.-25th Cong., 1st Sess.)
  • Congressional Globe
