Posted here for review are the proposed amendments to the Delaware Library Association Bylaws in anticipation of upcoming membership votes. They are submitted by the Bylaws and Handbook Committee and subject to the approval of the DLA Executive Board. The Bylaws require membership approval at two consecutive meetings, the second of which must be a general meeting.
Posted here is the Association Handbook portion that interprets the Bylaws and clarifies various roles of officers and committee chairpersons, and provides guidelines for various Association activities. A membership vote approving the amendments at one business meeting of the Association is needed in order for the current proposed amendments to take effect.
