The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) preserves and makes available to member libraries a wide range of information resources and primary materials. Many are hard to obtain and are not commonly held, even by the largest university research libraries. The UD Library is a member of CRL, therefore UD researchers have free and unlimited use of CRL collections. Some are available at the CRL website and others may be obtained via Interlibrary loan.
Holdings include such diverse materials as doctoral dissertations (including that of Albert Einstein and other Nobel laureates), some of the earliest African-American newspapers, and the archive of Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge security force. Emphasis is on materials produced outside the U.S., and the CRL has special strength in publications and archives from many developing nations.
