• Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)  An organization committed to educating and supporting editors, publishers and those involved in publication ethics with the aim of moving the culture of publishing towards one where ethical practices become a normal part of the publishing culture.
• The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) An independent index that contains thousands of peer-reviewed, open access journals from all countries and in all languages covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities.
• Google Scholar Metrics Lists the top 100 publications in order of their five-year h-index and h-median metrics.
• Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) is a membership organization that was established in 2008 in order to represent the interests of Open Access (OA) globally in all scientific, technical and scholarly disciplines. This mission is carried out through exchanging information, setting standards, advancing models, advocacy, education, and the promotion of innovation.
• SCImago Journal & Country Rank  A publicly available portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.).
