Annual Free Credit Reports 
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) mandates the major credit reporting companies including Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, to provide individuals with a free copy of their credit report, upon request, once every 12 months. The Act promotes the accuracy and privacy of information in the files of the nation’s credit reporting companies. Free credit report can be obtained from Annualcreditreport.com       

Federal Trade Commission’s Credit and Loans Information 
This site provides information on how to make  better decisions about credit and loans including how much money you need, what terms you’re offered, and who is behind the offer. Includes tips  on how to evaluate credit and loan offers.

Federal Student Aids 
The U.S. Department of Education maintains the site for federal student aids. It provides information on how to apply for educational loans and aids, entrance counseling as well as access to forms and related documents.
