Adding Library Video Tutorials to Canvas

1) Locate the video you'd like to include from the video tutorials page.

2) Click on the video to open it in a new window. 

3) Press play and then look for the share button in the bottom right hand corner of the video.Screenshot of an example video with share button highlighted.

4) If you'd like to add the video as a link, choose the link option. If you'd like to embed the video in a canvas page, choose the embed option.

5) When you click the link or embed option, you'll see a message that says the link has been copied to your clipboard. From there, navigate to the location in your Canvas Course where you'd like to add the video.

7) If linking to the video, Click the plus sign in the module you'd like add it to. From there choose External URL from the drop down menu, paste the link into the URL bar, and give the link a descriptive name. Click add item when finished. You can also do this within a page, by using the link button in the Canvas page.

8) If you'd like to embed the video in a canvas page, first navigate to the page you'd like to add the video to and click Edit Page. From there you'll click the HTML icon at the bottom of the page.

9) Paste the embed code into the HTML screen then click the HTML icon to switch back to the rich text editor.

10) When you switch back, click the save button and test the video to verify that it works.
