A Discovery Collections Steering Group consisting of University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press librarians manages the process of creating and facilitating Curated Collections. Ideas for new and updated rotating collections are regularly solicited from Library, Museums and Press staff through periodic open calls for curators. Collaboration with student groups and faculty are encouraged. The Discovery Collections Steering Group works with volunteer curators to facilitate the development of collections, which highlight a broad range of materials (both in subject, format and audience) collected by the Library, Museums and Press. These collections serve as an invitation to the University community to explore the rich and varied resources available to support their learning, research and inquiry.
On this guide you will find themed collections of books and media curated by UD librarians. Use the tabs at the left to explore current, past, and permanent collections. Note that these are only small selections of available materials. Use DELCAT to explore additional titles, or Ask the Library for assistance.
