Basic Searching in DELCAT
If it's been a while since you've used an academic library, you may want a refresher on using the library catalog. At UD, our catalog is called DELCAT. You can use the catalog to search to locate books, articles, DVDs, and other items. The video below explains best practices when searching in DELCAT. Some general tips include:
- Use only a few words or short phrases when searching
- Use the limits on the left hand side of the screen to filter by format, author, location, and more
- Always look to see if the item you want is available at UD
