    Resources for Patents

The University of Delaware Library is an officially designated member of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center Program (PTRCP) which is administered by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). All of the materials needed to conduct a preliminary patent search are available online from computers in the Reference Room on the first floor of the Library. A few of the older, printed materials are located in the Government Documents area on the Lower Level, although most printed and microfilm materials have been removed to the Library Annex now that this information is available online. Search DELCAT by the title of the publication to obtain the SuDocs number for that title.

    Recommendation for Library Purchase

The Library welcomes suggestions for books, journals, videos and other material. Please use the Recommendation for Purchase form to send your suggestions.
