APA granted free access to the publication manual through RedShelf.

Steps to access the ebook:

1. Go to https://studentresponse.redshelf.com/accounts/login/?next=/book/1281425/

2. Create an account

3. Borrow the book for free until 5/25. It will ask for an access code, but you do not need to use one. 

Note: APA also granted access to other ebooks, but there is a limit of 7 free ebook checkouts per person.

When to Cite

Provide a citation whenever you paraphrase or quote the ideas of others. You do not need to cite a source when you are stating your own opinions and ideas or reporting common knowledge, such as the boiling point of water or the capitol of the United States.

When in doubt, provide a citation.
