One of the things that you will be asked to do in this course is examine the motives of those who create or replicate media. This video, entitled Check Yourself with Lateral Reading: Crash Course Navigating Digital Information, will illustrate the importance of developing skills in not only identifying those who create media, but also learning more about their motives in disseminating media.
