The Morris Library is the main library facility on campus where the majority of the University Libraries' study space and collections are available. The Library uses the Library of Congress Classification system to organize books and journals. Call number labels are located on the lower part of the spine of the book. The most efficient way to locate material in the library is to search DELCAT Discovery, however the following may be useful as a guide when browsing the shelves for books in the Morris Library and the Physics library. Much of the collection is electronic and this should be remembered when browsing shelves.
Call numbers for physics materials for both the Morris and Physics library:
QC 1-19 | General Physics |
QC 19-75 | Mathematical Physics |
QC 21 | General textbooks and handbooks |
QC 81-114 | Weights & Measures |
QC 121-169 | Descriptive & Experimental Mechanics |
QC 170-220 | Atomic Physics |
