Tableau is a popular and effective data visualization platform. The public account is free with limited capabilities. The Desktop version is available in the Student Multimedia Design Center in the Morris Library.
Tableau offers an extensive training catalog on their software, from getting started with basic visualizations to using more advanced features like calculations and maps.
Check out our list of library workshops for formalized training on data visualization and data analysis methods. We also offer customized workshops for classes and research teams -- reach out to Kayla Abner (kabner@udel.edu) with any questions.
Provides a nice overview of different types of data visualization, and allows filtering by type of viz or type of data.
