The Interlibrary Loan Office is located on the first floor of the Morris Library, but is currently closed to visitors. All materials must be picked up at the Help Center.
Place Interlibrary Loan requests through DELCAT by clicking the "Request Item through Interlibrary Loan" button in the item record. If you just need a book chapter or journal article, use the "Request a Book Chapter" or the "Request a Journal Article Scan" buttons instead.
Use the "Get It!" button in Library databases and click the link that says "Obtain a copy of this item if it is not available online or held by the University of Delaware Library." The request form will automatically populate the citation for that item.
Log in to the Interlibrary Loan system, choose the appropriate request form (PDF Request for journal articles, book chapters, ebooks, and other portions of a work, or Loan Request form for borrowing books, DVDs, reels of microfilm, and more), and type in all available information about the item being requested. When you've completed the form, click Submit Request.
