SWIVLs and Classroom Observations

The SWIVL is a robot designed to track and record videos.  It is used in conjunction with a user friendly video capturing app to provide real time feedback and follow up coaching sessions to assess and improve a pre-service student teacher's instructional and classroom management skills.  The SWIVL allows a presenter to:

• Record teaching, lessons, and classroom interactions
• Reflect and discuss video recordings
• Edit video clips
• Export videos to the SWIVL cloud
