Native American Education Resources

What is UDLib/SEARCH?

UDLib/SEARCH is a state-funded program with the Department of Education and run by librarians at the University of Delaware. We provide access to scholarly resources to Delaware Public Schools, both in and out of the school building. If you have questions, you can contact any of the Coordinators for the program.

Databases by Grade Level

Elementary School Databases: 

  • PebbleGo Social Studies - Great for K-2nd Grade 
  • PebbleGo Next! American Indian History - Great for 3-5 Grade
  • World Book Kids - Multidisciplinary; More appropriate for 3-5 Grade
  • SIRS Discoverer - Multidisciplinary; More appropriate for 3-5 Grade

Middle School Databases: Please note that the Middle and High School pages are the same. 

  • In Context: Middle School - Multidisciplinary 

High School Databases: Please note that the Middle and High School pages are the same. 

  • In Context: High School - Extremely similar to the other "In Context" databases, but this is multidisciplinary
  • In Context: U.S. History - Has a mix of sources, including videos, primary, and secondary sources
  • SIRS Issues Researcher - Multidisciplinary 
  • Original Sources - Has primary sources
