Biographical information can be found in books on the person or the subject or event in which the person participated. Reading these books can provide you with important information and point you in the direction of other scholars. 

Basic Search Tips

• Place quotation marks around keyword phrases

• Capitalize Boolean logic connectors (AND, OR)
  • narrative OR plot
  • "American Involvement" AND World War I
