Use a Citation to find an Article:
Sometimes, you'll find useful information in an article or book and want to track down the original article. You can do this through the library using the Journal Browse. If you have a PubMed ID (PMID) or DOI number, you can search for those articles quickly through this search. If not, you can use the full citation to see if the library has a copy of the article you're looking for.
Situations you may need this:
- You find an important theory or concept and need the original source
- Your need the theoretical or historical roots of a concept
- Your professor asks for more detail on a concept
