The Collections and Digital Initaitves and Preservation departments have been working hard to negotiate new read and publish agreements with open access journals. These agreements reduce the cost of publishing in certain journals for UD faculty when UD Library, Museums, and Press subscribe to their content. The two new agreements are with the Royal Society of Chemistry and Springer Nature and both agreements waive the article processing fee for publishing open access for their journals. While the Royal Society of Chemistry may not have many options for HDFS professionals, there are many journals in which you might consider pubishing with the Springer Nature collection including:
