Books on a specific garden or designer

Look in DELCAT under the name of the garden or designer. Check the bibliography at the back of each book for leads to other writings about this garden or designer.

Examples:

Subject: winterthur estate
Subject: marian coffin
Subject: Farrand, Beatrix
Any field: Beatrix Farrand

General Books on a Genre, Location, or Style

Check the index in the back of each book to see if a specific site or designer is discussed. Look at any bibliographies given in a book for leads to other writings on the topic. Search DELCAT by subject (e.g. English gardens, urban landscape architecture, garden structures, urban parks, public gardens).

Examples:

Subject: Gardens, American
Subject: Gardens -- United States
Any field: urban park*
Any field: garden structures
