The University of Delaware Library Special Collections has an extensive collection, the core of which is the Unidel History of Chemistry Collection. Additional strengths include print materials related to horticulture, landscape architecture, zoology, and agricultural science. The history of American horticulture, in particular, is richly recorded in books, periodicals, seed catalogs, trade catalogs, prints, broadsides, and manuscript collections.
