Library, Museums and Press - New Faculty Orientation

Teaching Collaborations

The Library, Museums and Press offers robust teaching support designed to enrich the University of Delaware curriculum and foster critical engagement with all types of information.

Last year, more than 15,000 students, faculty, and staff engaged with our teaching and learning services, including workshops, online tutorials and research guides, Canvas modules, and in-class collaborations with faculty.

Partnering with a librarian helps your students build essential research and information literacy skills. Together, we can support your students as they:

  • Learn research skills in your discipline
  • Build foundational AI literacy skills
  • Engage with rare and unique materials through object-based learning in Museums and Special Collections
  • Create audio, video, and other multimedia assignments
  • Design digital exhibits, data visualizations, and maps
  • Understand copyright, fair use, or licensing

Contact your librarian to discuss the best approach for your course.
