A wide variety of posters, broadsides, and several menus collected by the American educator and writer in the course of her worldwide travels, spanning the dates 1967-2011. This is a strong graphic collection reflecting Schleuning's broad interests in social and political issues of the 1970s, such as women's issues, Native Americans, American studies, and political movements.

Two scrapbooks chronicling William Franklin Allen's 1937-1938 term in the U. S. House of Representatives for the state of Delaware, as well as his business affairs in Seaford, Delaware.

This collection contains various publications, 1924 - 1961, which advocate extremist political opinions. The bulk of these are American publications (some British), date from the 1950s, and express anti-integration, anti-Semitic, and anti-Communist sentiments.The publications feature opinions from religious and civic organizations, individual citizens, and members of Congress.

British attorney and authority on international monetary law Sir Joseph Gold (1912-2000) was the compiler of this political and misellaneous ephemera collection. American and international newsletters, pamphlets, posters, and miscellaney from the 1960s-1990s reflect a range of issues, from Black power, socialism, civil and human rights, the Vietnam War, international political movements, and peace. The collection includes non-political miscellaney from Gold's personal life, as well.

This Delaware ephemera collection is a vertical file of fliers, clippings, artifacts, and other ephemeral materials pertaining to local and federal election campaigns, environmental groups, grassroots organizations, and political groups.

Delaware native and former Delaware Superior Court Judge Jerome O. Herlihy maintained an active connection to national and local politics throughout his life. The Jerome O. Herlihy political campaign ephemera collection spans over a century of United States and Delaware politics, and includes campaign buttons and pins, bumper stickers, a wide array of political artifacts, and paper ephemera.

Dr. Winthrop Topliff Doolittle, Sr. (1895-1967), was a Milford, Connecticut, dentist and an avid collector of stamps, coins, campaign buttons and related ephemera. His collection contains approximately 200 political campaign buttons, tobacco and advertising pin-back buttons, pins and medals, the bulk of which date between 1892 and 1920.
